Re: Jermayne Lole..Flips to Uterus?
:hornsburning: probably threw WAY more money at him than he was worth to save face for Sark. That way OU didn't get both of them. With Terry, Williams, Halton ( who was looking good), Sears who had some good moments and then the freshmen .. I still feel good with DT Speculation/rumor on Twitter is ...

Re: The Elephant in the Room
C'mon fans. Reality is this. The Sooners still have the 2nd best record in D1 Softball at 46-6! Let me type that again. THE 2ND BEST RECORD IN D1 SOFTBALL AT 46-6. The Sooners are in the #2 position in the RPI. The Sooners are currently holding these places in team stats: Batting : 2nd in BA 1st in...

Re: SOONER bats wake up...
It was good to see the bats come through yesterday, and I'm hopeful that can be a catalyst to build momentum going into tournament play. However, I'll temper the enthusiasm by pointing out that the vast majority of the hits & damage over the weekend came against Aycock, who is clearly the Cowgir...

Re: What it Came Down To
As several have mentioned, OU is good OL play & an inexperienced QB away from being a top-tier team in the SEC & nationally. Nothing you can do about Arnold's inexperience except get him game reps & live with the ups & downs that come with a young QB. If OU can develop a stronger run...

Re: Big 12 Softball Bedlam Series: Sooner Host OSU on Fri, Sat, Sun
Love your previews 56! I'm sure it takes a lot of time to put that all together. Thank you for your insights. I know the stats look to be in OU's favor, but I'm not as optimistic as you are. We have definitely been spoiled for the past several years with historic levels of dominance & elite perf...

Re: Your Thoughts ???
1. Would like to get more clarity on what he means by "in house."
2. Would be 100% in favor of this. The players can't have all the $$$ without having obligations to fulfill.
3. If this were to take place, I agree with Humble that it would lead to the players forming a union

Re: The Finebaum Visit
Other than being wrong on how many NC's OU has won, I can't really disagree with what Finebaum said. :horns: hired Sark a year before OU hired BV, and Sark began to rebuild both OL & DL, so they do appear to be a year or 2 ahead of OU in the roster rebuild to prepare for the SEC. They do have an...

Re: Oklahoma Baseball is in Utah for a Thurs, Fri, Sat 3-Game Series
This next stretch of games will be very important for OU. They have the opportunity to virtually lock up the Big 12 championship & solidify their chances of hosting a Regional &/or Super Regional.

Re: Milos Uzan Transfers to Houston
We oughta scrap men's basketball, and put funds earmarked for it towards women's basketball, or towards football. I'm being serious about this. It will never happen, but I agree 100%. NIL & unlimited transfers have ruined college basketball. Let the women's team play in McCasland Field House &a...

Re: OU Softball Hosts BYU at Love's Field: Thu, Fri, Sat in 3 games
BYU lists 7 pitchers on staff and we got 3 of them last night. 2 of the three, Temples and Dahle have the most IP at 73 and 63, with #3 being the freshman Gianna Mares with 59. The other pitcher we saw in relief yesterday, Aguilar, only has 16 IP. Not seen yet, Kaysen Korth only has 13. The remaini...

Re: Let's see if losing is a motivator to 3x NCs
I think if you were to ask or talk with each member of the team, they would tell you they are motivated to go after the 3-peat. However, the "switch on/switch off" nature of the offense throughout this season is the biggest indicator to me that the "focus" is lacking on this team...

1.
2. Aggy (TX)
3 (Tie) Oregon (screw job); Miami (85-87); Baylor (Briles & Mulkey); LSU (trash programs & fans)
OSU isn't anywhere to be found on my list. They are & always have been irrelevant.

Re: Injury UpDate Thread
Big opportunity for Josh Bates to step up & prove to BB & BV that he is capable of being the starting center for OU. If he doesn't or can't do that, the coaches will have to go shopping in the portal.

Per Ikard & Lehman's latest podcast, the starting OL has been as follows so far this spring: LT: Tarquin LG: Ozaeta C: Bates RG: Nwaiwu RT: Taylor Based on their comments, OU is in pretty serious trouble if this is the starting OL for game 1. Some additional comments: Ozaeta & Nwaiwu look gr...

Re: My Quick Take on our Games With the Baylor Bears
So, how did all these guys really make it into the pros? Because of their bats? I can't imagine a big game on the line and somebody with the yips throws a ball into the stands....?? They either eventually overcame them (Sax), had to change positions (Ankiel), or never were able to overcome them &am...
