I was a little surprised that Nicole May didn't pitch today. Obviously with two strong performances by first Storako, then Bahl in relief, she wasn't needed... We saw her throwing to get warm once, but that was it. Ah well, Nicole threw 108 pitches in the 2-1 squeaker over Northwestern, she deserved...

Just as an FYI, her last name is spelled (counterintuitively, I think) Geurin, instead of the way one would expect it to be spelled. I have been revisiting/reviewing some of OUr past recruiting classes, and seems that Geurin was rated #1 pitcher. Granted, OU is loaded at pitcher this year, what with Jordy, Storako, Nicole May and Deal (bringing her along slowly). But what about Geurin? I haven't heard anything about her this year...
