Re: Alex Storako

Mental health issues are a serious concern and in reality they have a negative stigma in society. I am not sure why, my thoughts are people just don't understand them and think you should "tough it out" and get over it. It is not that easy and can cause a lot of personal pain and anguish. ...

Re: Do You Think The 2023 Sooner Softball Team is the Best One Ever???

I am trying to avoid recency bias here and I do think they are the most balanced as you said but not the best overall. I do think some of the best Sooner players of all time are on this team and still have some history to make. If they aren't the best, what team was? Head to head, what other team c...

Remember we said that about Brent V in the 2000s.

Well there you go, I thought it was JB. Sounded just like him.

I stand corrected and it definitely won't be the last time.

Joe Buck

I noticed that Joe Buck had been doing some of the WCWS games. I am not a big “hate the announcer” guy like a lot of people are but not sure why Beth Mowins has been demoted. If I remember correctly, she always did the big softball games. Joe does a good job but he seems like an odd fit to me. He is...

Re: WCWS SF Sooners vs Stanford Game 1 of 1 Thread

Help me understand here, why did they pull Nicole? She had a great game outside of the first inning. I realize Jordy is the best but May was also holding her own.

Re: Other Super Regionals

Even when OU is the top seed it seems like lower seeded teams get an easier path to the CWS. I know that OU had the very first game televised by ABC but can you believe the Tenn vs Texas** game tomorrow is going to on ABC. You would think that the number one seed who is one game away from breaking ...

I guess none for me. 😁 Hopefully the crowd helps push a victory.

Re: Happened between Texas*** assistant coach & ump

Also what has not been mentioned is that the plate umpire for the game is the same umpire that Mike White gave the finger to several weeks back. Don't know how that might have factored in but... This story gets more and more interesting. Thanks for the update and welcome to the board. Hang around a...

Right now the roster is 19 players for the Sooners.

With the 5 Super Seniors leaving and 4 freshman arriving the roster will be at 18.

Transfers - in and out - will adjust that number.
What is the maximum number allowed per team?

Re: Happened between Texas* assistant coach & ump

If the article is accurate, which I assume it is, the ump needs to come off his high horse and understand the situation. The Texas coach needs to also chill but I see his frustration after reading the article.
