Re: Christmas Happiness from Jayda Coleman

I know plenty of grown men that would be just as happy if not happier to get that for Christmas.

Re: Over Reaction Sunday

I’m not going to say anything about Lebby, as it’s already been said. He’s not the only problem. We just don’t have the horses yet, but we’re getting there. We’re doing pretty good offensively when you consider we have an awful kicking game. We expected much more from our RB room this year, which ha...

Re: Overreaction Sunday

Early on in the season our WR’s were “da bomb” and we were singing the praises of our WR coach. Honestly, after what I saw yesterday, I’m not sure Lebby has any confidence in them (may be justified, are they getting open?). Or has he lost confidence in Dillon delivering them the ball (19 attempts wi...

Re: At What Point do Style Points Start to Matter? Or Do They At All?

I't not like Georgia or anyone else is just blowing people out 55-0 every week. I think style points don't matter. If some of the unbeaten's were doing that every week, then yes. Right now, none of those other teams look any better than :ou: . They all have games they won by a few points over weake...

What a brutal game that was. What a shame the Sooners don’t scrimmage the Pokes, or Tulsa in the fall.

Re: Other Games Oct 13/14

I admit, I gave up on that game at the half. Was very surprised this morning to see that Stanford won. Went and watched some highlights, and good gravy, another incredible game! OU-Texas*, WV-Houston, and now this one! Stanford WR Elic Ayomanor had 294 receiving yards IN THE SECOND HALF! He had abo...

Colorado vs Stanford

Woke up last last night and couldn’t go back to sleep, after midnight. Was surfing through twitter and there were some posts of the Colorado bench where a player was mouthing off to Deion. When I went to bed, Colorado was up 29-0. I turned on the game, and they were going into overtime, where Stanfo...

Current State of the Big XII

Was reading where Desmond Howard was saying the best conference is the PAC 12 (as opposed to the SEC). Then later on, I see a Sooner pundit asking this question. “Who’s the third best team in the Big 12, Iowa State? Or Kansas?” Painful, not because those aren’t “nice” teams, but a “good” team would ...

Re: The TE issue

When you go back and look at our great offenses when Baker and Kyler were our QB's, you see NFL talent all over the place, whether it's receivers or tight ends. All those pass catchers were playmakers. We don't have any playmakers at tight end right now. I'd prefer we had a tight end who had made so...

Re: RB Situation

One huge bright spot about our RB's is that they don't put the ball on the ground. They protect it. Now it's up to the coaches we pay the big bucks to, to figure out how to get things rolling on our run game. We saw some of that in the second half as they changed our blocking to spring some nice runs.

Re: OSU falling apart...grain of salt.

When i heard Shedeur Sanders, the QB for Colorado, had a Rolls Royce car i figured NIL had jumped the shark and there had to be other NIL impacts on college football most likely in a negative way. The availability of a portal feeds into this allowing a valid transfer option. As far as osu the obvio...

Re: I might think that Lebby may be putting up a good offense.

Zgeo is spot on, in that we look great against Tulsa. OU’s offense did not exactly run wild against Tulsa, while throwing for a ton. Will the better teams be able to limit our downfield throws while putting a minimum amount of bodies in the box to stop the run? And will we still be able to put (lots...
