After reading Macy's timeline.....it becomes apparent that Coach Gasso must have seen the writing on the wall for Macy, and adds to the reasoning behind adding Alex Storako to our pitching staff, even with the two new freshmen coming in.

It was a small hairline fracture in mid-May. She was actually able to pitch in the WCWS about 4 weeks later. but it looked like she could not throw one or maybe two pitches.

Let's let the the fall play out and see how she is doing.

Best of luck to her, but she should probably think about retiring. I don’t think she will be a factor in the pitching rotation. She can be an asset as a teammate in the dugout though.

'56, That is pretty much is the squad I was thinking of to build a Varsity Alumni game around....(except for Lyons of course). And also, maybe add Storako to the pitchers for the new pro team.
