Leah Jeruto OU Women's CC: Midwest Region Women's Ath o-t Year

On November 27th, the USTFCCCA (United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association) announced their Regional and National Athletes and Coaches of the Year. Among those athletes was freshman Leah Jeruto, OU Woman's Cross Country runner that made a huge impact as a member of the Sooner Women's in Cross Country this fall.

Jeruto earned the award after winning the NCAA Midwest Region Championships on Nov. 15, eight days before she would finish 40th at the 2024 NCAA DI Cross Country Championships in Madison, Wis., for All-America honors.
