Soonertimes.com outage

The board has been down for most of the week. The web host that we have used for the last 15 years, omnis.com, was bought out and the board has been moved to another host, jethost.com. There were some DNS issues related to this transfer that led to the prolonged outage.

Unfortunately I am currently on the road and don't have access to a computer so it has taken me most of the week to determine what caused the problem and to get it corrected. Trying to investigate what caused the 'website is unavailable' error was slow and somewhat difficult since I only had my phone to investigate what was going on.

I did need to use a backup to get the site back up so some posts were lost. My apologies to those of you that were unable to access the board especially for all of you softball fans who missed out on the WCWS and any recent transfer portal action.

At this point, the initial cause for the outage has been resolved so the board should stay up and you can proceed to post away.

I still have a bit of work to fix an issue with an expired SSL certificate and to re-enable Cloudflare but those changes should not impact posting.

Thanks, Tom!! I know in our conversations back and forth that this couldn't have happened at a worse time! Sure do appreciate all you do! Your efforts are not unnoticed! I'm sure a huge raise is forthcoming! If there's anything we can do on this end to help, let us know! It's sure nice to get this puppy back online!
