NWS Norman has revised their forecast low for Fri morning down to -1 F for OKC with an aftn hi of 14.
And Baja Oklahoma (Dallas) you're not getting out of it either.....your low Fri morning is showing to be +9 with a high of 24.

Feb 2021 wind chill map to benchmark this weeks windchills. Temps not as cold this go arojnd but stronger winds so will feel similar maybe?

Yep. For the record the NWS forecast for this weekend calls for highs near zero and winds ~10 mph. Certainly no polar vortex especially by our standards, but time will tell.

They can, yeah. We just moved into our current home basically a year ago and they’ve frozen a couple times already. With the vortex over Christmas it was literally having the faucets off for basically an hour and a half after turning off the kitchen sink for some reason and boom, out from Friday night to Christmas morning.
What makes it weirdly more wholesome is my five year old son loves to play with water, and he’s even understanding at his age that the faucet goes off when you’re not using it. Cue him trying to tell me “Water off”, and I have to explain that no, it has to stay on.
