Sadly, the forcasting models I've found online are showing the same thing.
It appears to me like it's actually sourcing from Siberia....kinda like what we had two years ago February. Not sure this one will go all the way to Mexico like back then, but it will easily clear the RR.
Could be recordbreaking cold right before and during Christmas.
I was hoping my models were wrong but his match up really close to what I've found.
Yikes!

I'm sorry OU Guy....
I was in the middle of replying to Tony when I stepped away from my computer for a bit...
and when after I posted I saw your confirming post from Adams.
Sorry to double over.

Nothing to be sorry about. I wish the reports are wrong and they still can be. But some cold is coming now its a matter of any precip that won’t melt if we get any.

I just hope Texas* has their power grid figured out this time.....I don't want any more rolling blackouts like 2 years ago! Brrrrr!

It is great how these global warming people know more than God. One volcano puts out more carbon in the atmosphere than humans

This is NOTHING like Feb 2021, at least for Texas*. Then we had close to a week with low temperatures in the single digits and highs in the 20s. The forecasts that I'm seeing now for just before Christmas shows a couple of nights dip into the 20's with highs in the 30's. That may be below average, but it is not that unusual. It looks like the weathermen are looking for the shocking headline, rather than a legitimate concern.TropicalSooner wrote: ↑Wed Dec 14, 2022 12:36 pm I just hope Texas** has their power grid figured out this time.....I don't want any more rolling blackouts like 2 years ago!
