The Oklahoma Sooner Baseball Team dropped the opening game of the weekend against TCU 13-5 on Friday night.

Here is the staff wrtiers article about the loss to TCU.

The Sooners sent five pitchers to the hill on Friday night and each one of them gave up runs. That is a tough thing to overcome. The Sooners did hit 2 HRs but it was not to overcome the TCU offense on Friday.

Good luck to the Sooners on Saturday at 4 PM on Saturday at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

Last year they started slow too. And we lost some major talent. Might take a few years to reload although I think they will do better as year goes on.

The Oklahoma Sooner Baseball Team battled back twice in a come from behind victory, 7-5, over TCU on Sunday to with their opening Big 12 Series on Sunday. The Sooners trailed 3-0 after the top of the 5th but battled back with 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th and a single run in the 6th to tie the score at 3-3. TCU scored 2 runs in the top of the 7th to retake the lead 5-3. But with 2 outs, the Sooner Baseballers scored 4 runs to go ahead for good 7-5. Three Sooner pitchers tossed two shutout innings to complete the win for OU. Oklahoma Pitcher, Hachem, who shut down the 2 run TCU rally in the top of the 7th got the win in relief for Oklahoma.

Eastman and Pettis had 3 hits each for the Sooners on offense. In an oddity, Oklahoma won th egame without hitting any EBH while TCU had 3 EBH. OU did outhit TCU 11 to 7 however.

It was a good series win to open Big 12 play for the Sooners.

Oklahoma will face Dallas Baptist on Tuesday at L Dale Mitchell Park. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

Good luck to the Sooners on Tuesday.
