Does anyone have info on our hurt receivers?

Have any of you heard anything positive of getting any of our top receivers back any time soon?

..read that Farooq and Burks have made strides and are still listed as questionable, but who really knows given the Hippa Laws and HC's reluctance to disclose anything meaningful regarding injuries.

Questionable is better than "Out". But honestly, I have given up hope of any of the receivers returning from sick bay this year. What we saw yesterday, to me, is what we have the rest of the way.
Please show me I'm wrong....

Think you are right. It seems like every week we hear "they are looking ok & moving around", & then don't see them. If they get back, great, but not holding my breath.

Been harping about this for weeks. I would think a few of these players would want to get back and help this team. Just give us Burks

What’s weird to me is that OU has been very specific regarding the nature of the injury for some of the players - example: we know Farooq suffered a broken foot. Yet for other players all we ever hear is a very vague description such as “soft tissue” and they won’t release the exact nature of the injury. Why is it ok to release specific info for some players but not others?

Because the foot area contains no soft tissue. They were forced to say something different. (I’m kidding. A little.)

I think part of it is that soft tissue can be Hamstrings, torn Bicep etc ... ACL MCL, PCL ... are all soft tissue. I think at least 1 player has a combination (multiple ACL, MCL ...) . So its just easier to say soft tissue rather than turn the PC into Anatomy 1101.

Before someone asks: Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) tears. There's also an LCL.

My brain is considered soft tissue as well.
