Bottom post of the previous page:

So it looks like Joe Craddock freed up last night, as well as Arbuckle after Sat....
And with signing day coming up soon....do we think these are the three most likely candidates at this point?

Arbuckle
Craddock
Mullen

Others?

yeah....I kinda figured....but a lot of folks seem to like him so I was keeping him on for that.
My guess is between Arbuckle and Craddock.

...personally, I'd still like to see UNLV's Brennan Marion. Not just a change in OC but a change in scheme with Marion's "Go-Go Offense."
But I've heard TULSA may be trying to lure him as new HC.
Logical since his record setting collegiate career was with the Golden Hurricane.

Brent's career at Oklahoma hangs in the balance with this OC hire. He HAS to get it right!
I thought we might have known who it is last weekend, but not so.
Perhaps Sunday or Monday.

Yeah his offense wasn't overly impressive at least to me. He was however playing from behind and it seemed like rather than trying to move the ball down the field in chunks of yardage they kept throwing the deep ball and either missing the player completely, or completing the pass only for Mario Williams to fumble, or throwing interceptions. What I saw anyways.

Yes, to all of the above.... currently Tulane's OC.
I believe he also has history with BV at Clemson as an asst Grad coach 2012-14.

I hope it's not Arbuckle, but if they are going to name an OC before the Signing Period begins, then it would appear to be Craddock or Arbuckle and Craddock is likely headed to FSU.

Maybe some of the others under consideration wanted to bring in their own staff and BV said no, you have to keep X and Y and maybe Z from the current staff. I guess it will all come out eventually.

Personally I'd rather wait and get Mr. Right instead of Mr. Right Now.

I heard Mullen was holding out for a HC position. A lot of rumors floating around about Mullen when UNC fired Akers. Saw that UNC is in negotiation with the Steelers OC, leaving Mullen out in the cold. Wonder if Mullen will lower his sights to being a mere OC at OU.

If Mullin are anyone of those fellows just want our OC job just for a springboard to another HC job send them on there way for now. The best pick will be a coach that
wants to build our offense into his system and improve on it. Wants to be here. We need a guy that players want to play for.BV
Knows this is his most important decision he has ever made for in being the head man. No one is better than the staff you put under
you.We shall see, but i truly think BV knows that.look how long it has taken Nebraska?. There slowly are lmpoving,as are many
Other schools.

Buster Faulkner, Georgia Tech offensive coordinator
Georgia Tech's Buster Faulkner is also becoming a hot name nationally.
Faulkner had the Yellow Jackets averaging 417.1 yards per game entering this weekend and outschemed Miami defensive coordinator Lance Guidry in an upset win over the Hurricanes.
Faulkner won two national titles in three seasons as an offensive quality control assistant for quarterbacks at Georgia.

...THIS...YES!!!

I would be ecstatic with this hire!
Absolutely LOVE his run-centric read option offense!
Think he might be the the single best choice for the athletes on OU's roster AND for keeping and developing JA .
Arnold showed me last game he can make quick correct reads in a ground attack.

REALLY HOPE FAULKNER's THE GUY!
