Head's up everyone:
UCLA is Legit!
Edit:
Personally, I think the transfer players that came to OU are the best. And I still expect the Sooners to roll next year.
But I bring this up to show that UCLA is not going to throw in the towel--they will come to play.
Next Year's competition? UCLA!

UCLA also picked up a top pitcher as well - Yanez
So I expect OU to roll during the regular season as well but it really is hard to predict what will happen once you get into the WCWS. This year OU cruised thru the World Series and made it look easy but every year is different.
Thought #1 . In 2016 and 2017, OU won it all. But with basically the same team in 2018 , we got beat by Washington freshman Gabbie Plain 2-0 and then Taran Alvelo beat OU 3-0. in 2019, we were destroyed by UCLA. If we run into a couple of good pitchers who are hot, we could get bounced into the loser bracket and your World Series is over before you know what happened
Thought #2. OU does seem to have unbelievable talent. I don’t see how they can’t win it all

2 of the 3 girls transferring in to ucla photos have the girl holding her hands with the tops of the hands facing the camera and pointing inwards. Does that pose/posture have a specific meaning, or is there any explanation for that?

I will take either one of these lists of incoming players for either UCLA or Oklahoma. Both sets are exceptional.
I can't imagine any other team coming close to these two groups of incoming players.
But the returning core of OU is a better core than UCLA's by quite a bit.
