OU has been very blessed with great power hitters for a long time now: first, there was Lauren C for 4 years. Then along came Jocelyn Alo for another 4 years of great power plus great BA. Now we have Tiare Jennings to take up the mantle and continue the great tradition... and this year, she has a LOT of help, a whole lineup of players who can hit and also go yard!

I sure hope everyone truly understands and appreciates what historic success we're watching right now. IMO, the dominance that OU has displayed over the last decade is more impressive than anything UCLA or Arizona did back in the day due to the substantial increase in legitimate competition. There is far more widespread talent and teams capable of beating the top-ranked teams these days than ever existed back in the 80's and 90's. We're watching players in real time that are destined to be legends in the game. Think about it. Jennings, Coleman, Lyons, Hansen, etc, etc... absolutely unprecedented talent all on one team. And last year Alo played with this bunch. I marvel at the juggernaut Patty has put together and am trying my best to just sit back and enjoy it while it lasts. Hopefully, I'm able to appreciate the history we're currently watching because make no mistake about it, these Sooner teams are historic.
