Sooner Women's Golf - The Bruzzy in Ardmore, OK @ Dornick Hills

The Oklahoma Sooner Women's Golf Team will compete in the 54-hole 2-day The Bruzzy on April 1st and 2nd. The format is for 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. The field of 16 teams will tee off at 8:30 AM both days.

The Sooner lineup features Kaylee Vesely, Savannah Barber, Raychel Nelke, Reagan Chaney and Mikhaela Fortuna. Chaney will be making her OU debut and joined the Sooners midway through the 2022-23 season. Emily Hun will compete as an individual.

The Oklahoma Women's Golf Team played 36 holes in Ardmore, OK at the BRUZZY tournament. The team shot a 307 in the first round, but rebounded well to shoot a 293 in the second round of the day. The Sooners are in 12th (The results show the Sooners in 11th) with their 40-over par score.

Mikhaela Fortuna, playing in the #5 spot, shot 7-over for the first two rounds with a 75 and 72 to lead the Sooners. The #1 spot player, Kaylee Vesely shot 9-over for the Sooners with a 76 and 73.

Playing as an individual, Emily Hun shot an impressive 69 and 72 in the first day for a 141 total and 1-over result. Hun sits in a tie for 5th place individually in the tournament.

The Oklahoma Sooners completed their play in the The BRUZZY in Ardmore, OK at Dornick Hills on Sunday. The Sooners shot 23-over par and dropped to 14th place in the tournament. Barber lead the way for the Sooners on Sunday with a 73 (3-over). Vesely shot a 76 (6-over) with Fortuna and Chaney both shooting a 77 (7-over) and Nelke shooting an 81 (11-over).

Playing as an individual, Hun playing for the first time as a Sooner shot a 78 (8-over) for a three round total of 219 or 9-over for the Tournament and finished in a tie for 20th.

Fortuna (#5) player for OU, shot a 224 total to lead OU. Vesely (#1) shot a 225, Cheney (#4) shot a 230, Barber (#2) shot a 231. Nelke (#3) finished with a 234.
