Post by OUBeliever56A »

The Oklahoma Women's Rowing Team opened conference action in Tennessee last weekend with competition against Tennessee and Alabama.

Here is the preview article about the team and their first contest of the season after 2 scrimmages.

Here is the staff writers article about the results from Saturday for the Rowing Team.

It will be a building process for the Sooners on the Rowing Team and boats. Maybe they are called sculls. I am guessing.

Up next, the Sooners will travel to Lawrence, Kan. to take on Kansas, Iowa and Minnesota on April 15th.

Good luck to the team as they work hard in practice.

The Oklahoma Women's Rowing Team competed in the Big Ten / Big 12 Double Dual against No. 19 Iowa, Kansas and Minnesota on Saturday. The Sooners finished the event with good results and even had one 2nd place finish in the Second Varsity Four event. From the results, the Sooners were competitive in all of the races.

Here is the staff writers article about the one-day event.

The Second Varsity Four team is made up of:

Second Varsity Four

C: Allix Huggan
S: Gianna Civiletto
3: Jenna Baker
2: Laura Scott
B: Katie Hall

Congrats to them for the 2nd place finish.

All of the teams are listed in the 1st post in this thread.

The Sooners will cross paths with Jayhawks and Hawkeyes again on April 20-22 for the Lake Wheeler Invitational in Raleigh, N.C.

Congrats to the Women Rowers, I often see them running up and down Jenkins.
