Jennings at 2nd, 1 out
Sanders at the plate, works the count 3-0, then full, Sanders drives the ball past 3rd, Jennings scores, Sanders thrown out at 2nd
4-2 Sooners, 2 outs!
Sanders would have beat the throw, but her cleat caught short of the base and allowed her to be tagged out

Lyons grounds into the 5/6 hole, Naomi gets the ball but Lyons beats the offline throw.
Lee pops up a foul ball into LF and Naomi the SS comes over to end the top of the 5th
Sooners strike for 4 runs and lead, 4-2!

Wow what a massive blow for the pokes. To be up 2-0 amd have OU down to last 3 outs and lose 2-4. This was their best chance to win. I have a feeling that sucked the energy out of them amd Sun will be run rule.
And kudos to Patty letting the freshman finish up the game! Great trust and was rewarded. Since OU isn’t in many close games this is very helpful to her confidence and future.
Thanks for updating play by play I really enjoy it.

So, should the pokes have left aycock in the game?
I would not have pulled her.
