2013 was the year of the deadly Moore, Ok tornado with a lot of death as a result of that storm. The OU softball team found a way to represent the state and that event at the WCWS. That year they came up with the blue (Home) stickers for their helmets. They met Tenn in the championship series and went extra innings in the first game with Kanlani Rickets (spelling) pitching.
They then took game 2 with Northwestern pitching coach Michelle Gascoigne pitching for the Sooners.
10 year anniversary of that deadly storm, OU is again wearing those blue (Home) stickers and just got a 2013 type come back win in game 2 of the Clemson super regionals.
Hopefully staying in the winners bracket the 2nd game could again be Tenn and hopefully past history and maybe it's like the players say "it's already written".

Hmmmm, it is not unheard of that this year is a repeat of that year in the championship series! Crazy to think about.....
