The object of this contest is to pick any 3 UNDERDOG Teams you like to cover the listed point spread and post them on this thread.
If all 3 of your picks cover the spread, you win a NO PRIZE. The player who accumulates the most numerical NO PRIZES over the course of the season is the Snarling Dog Champ.
If any of your picks not only cover the spread but WIN the game outright you're awarded a STRAIGHT UP Winner (SU*). The most numerical STRAIGHT UP Winners over the course of the season is the SU* Champ.
If you win 2 out of 3 of your picks, you're awarded a HORSESHOES & GRENADES (H&H). The most numerical H&H awards over the course of the season is the H&H Champ.

The first few weeks are the hardest, imo. Never know what G5/Popcorn State teams will look like. Every year a Costal Carolina or Liberty upsets P5 teams and win 10 games or so. With that said, I'll go with.....subject to change as always...

...I don't like the Cougars vs. UTSA. Houston DID beat them last year in a 3 OT game 37-35, but the line was -4.
The Roadrunners are 23-5 last 2 seasons, & been the CUSA champ back to back in '21 & "22.
Head Coach Jeff Traylor signed what many think was the best Group of 5 recruiting class in the country.
Wish you guys luck with that one.

Yep, the least favorite of my picks. Holgerson did have a lot of incoming portals. I believe. I just didn't see any other games that turned me on. I may ride Lynx or SD's picks since they are good at this contest. As much as I would love that Boz jersey(still can't believe you are giving it away) I sux at this contest every year.

In fact, think he missed the deadline at least once last year.

This little game has its own challenges.
It's my deal and I've never even been close to contending in the 7 prior years I've run it.

But, hope spring eternal. I'm as excited as I was the very first year.

It WILL be tough to give up the jersey, it's a genuine keepsake! But, I left myself an out. Just hoping for Co-Champs...then I keep the jersey and give them the aforementioned hoodies.
