It seems to me that there was a bit of a slowdown in the portal this year and I think Patty is planning for even more of a slowdown as the extra covid years finally work themselves out of the system. I'm glad she's going back to bringing in high quality HS kids.
High level competition between HS freshmen will bring forth the best players for a championship mindset team if the transfer portal becomes less active, or more restricted, or both.

We might be done but I am leaning towards 5 commits. But if we had 6 recruiting visits then maybe 6 is possible.
Tom, I have a trusted insider elsewhere that is indicating that "we're not done yet".
Not sure if one more or two....but super excited.
What an amazing class so far!
as long as they can figure out how to make it affordable for the recruits, they should keep going. It seems like they are pulling in some unbelievable talent. The way Kai Minor keeps liking the OU commit tweets, it is only a matter of time until she commits (I hope)

I hope everyone realizes this class is insane. If she pulls Minor I don’t know what to say. On paper this might be her best class ever and that’s saying something.
That is awesome. I didn't think any class could rival the Jennings/Coleman/May year
Yes, the '25 class is pretty unbelieveable so far.
I never thought we would see the likes of the Coleman freshman class again, and I hope I am proved wrong.
Also, let's not forget about this years' class of Parker, Pickering, Bland and McEnroe-Marinas. They may prove amazing as well.
I'm getting so excited about our '25 recruits, that I'm forgetting to look at the jewels right in front of me now. I'm having trouble waiting for Fall Ball to begin so I can see our new team.
It's good to be a Sooner!
I think the Covid year caused more in the portal. This is the last year of the portal players getting the extra year.
Parker is extremely underrated. She went toe to toe with Bordi and the Batbusters in the championship who squeeked it out in the end. That team is full of division 1 players and multiple players going to OU and she shut them down. She can play positions and hit also.
The picture above seems to indicate that all four of the new recruits were in town at the same time. IWIK (I wish I knew) when that was.
They were the 4 visitors on the weekend of 9/1 since Bordi and Wells committed after that visit and McDaniel posted a TikTok video on 9/1 showing she and Parker with OU uniforms.
We now wait for potential commitments from anyone that visited last weekend.

I think this is the best class anyone has taken since the Coleman/Jennings/May (to incl Hansen) class of '20 (&19).

yes of course. my bad.
If my memory serves me right, Boone, while a respectable prospect out of highschool, wasn't very close to top tier, but what a hidden gem she turned out to be, both offensively and defensively...and of course, a Sooner state girl!
Yeah...Boone and May are probably the two most underrated players on the team.
With Boone's OB% of .493, she gets on base almost 1 out of every two at bats in the 9 hole. The only player better than that? Coleman at .533--and she follows Boone in the lineup at lead off. This is a terrible nightmare for an opposing coach to have to strategize against. We're going to miss all these wonderful players after this next season, but I am really excited to see how our freshmen come along this year and the new freshmen next year that will take the place of the Magnificent 10.

Boone was the #58 recruit ranked by SA and was the T-#28 recruit by EIS I think in the final 2019 rankings. She has played above that ranking, IMO.
