...The SOONERS played like they had the 7 weeks before back to back losses and restored my confidence this will be a 10-2 campaign for Team 129.
Dillon Gabriel had what could be argued was one of, if not THE BEST EVER GAME BY A QB in the storied history of OKLAHOMA Football.
8 TD's, 5 throwing, 3 more rushing! But expectedly, the chinamen have been rather reserved with any praise. Gabriel DID have half a dozen POOR THROWS last night. (To acknowledge his many critics)
Gabriel has his shortcomings, but he IS DAMN GOOD!!! Afraid he'll end up merely as a trivia question answer in SOONER lore. Unfortunate.
Sawchuck continues to confirm my long held belief that he's the BEST BREAKAWAY THREAT we have in the rb room. RB #1 in my opinion.
Drake Stoops has established himself as the "go to" WR and becomes more beloved every week by the fans. As time passes, his stature will be mythical. A True SOONER! Bob & Carol have every right to be proud.
The SOONER Defense were absolute head hunters vs. WVA! Being physical means aggressive swarm tackling and violent concussive hitting. Saw both last night. OU won the physicality contest!
Bring on the Mormons.

As for WEEK 11, the scoring was a little down, but then again, WEEK 10 was the record High scoring in the 8 yrs of SD.
THERE WAS A PLAYER AWARDED A TRIPLE CROWN. KySooner, the Defending Champ in both SU* and H&H, fired out 3 Straight Up Winners and logs 3 No Prizes.

THERE WAS ONE PLAYER AWARDED A NO PRIZE. formulaSwon ALL 3 of his picks and adds another No Prize to his total.

...a Day in the Life...running Snarling Dogs.
Monday evening when I complete my hour commute to Blanchard I go to the Vegas Insider site and record the week's games manually with a pen & notebook.
Then I manually enter them on the Week's SD thread. -(1hour)
Friday night or usually Saturday morning I write every player's picks in my notebook.
Then I manually enter them on the Week's SD thread.-(1.5 hours)
Beginning Saturday evening I start recording Final Scores & Totals for the players selections in my notebook.
Then I enter them on the Week's SD thread. -(2 hours)
Then Sunday I do the write up for the past week and post the current standings. -(1.5 hours)

I had intended for this 8th Annual SD Contest to be the swan song for our little game.
So, I tossed out a little whipout and procured what I thought was a fitting prize for the final go-round. An Authentic Autographed #44 Jersey by Brian Bosworth.

But, I've since reconsidered and commit to running SD at least 2 more seasons.
After the 10th Annual SD contest in 2025,... we'll see!

(And I mainly made this post because it bugged me that the Week 11 & Week 12 threads were next to each other on the MB.
I'll have the WEEK 12 Games up tomorrow evening.

Hard to believe there's only 3 more weeks in regular season!

I can’t give you enough thanks for running this contest!! You are very dedicated to it and I thank you for it.

Just a thought to help with grading. I think we have a great group of honest posters. Perhaps you can make a post game SD Grading thread. It would just be a placeholder thread and then each poster would go copy and paste their grades from their picks into this thread. Have them say straight up win, cover or loss for each game they picked. Set a deadline of Sun night and you could grab the results for your final grades.

I am not sure thats much help but it would maybe save having to sift thru the larger thread and grade each one?

Anyways, thank you for all you do to give us a great contest!!
