Unlimited free agency in semi-pro football (college) can theoretically result in a school paying a fortune to a top 3 coach whose players love him, and get all the top players to follow that coach.
For example, let’s say a school spends $20M a year to snag a Kirby Smart and his coaching staff and spends another $20M in NIL to take most all his best 5 and 4 stars to follow him.
You just BOUGHT Georgia coaching, players and cohesive understanding of and time in Kirby’s system.
Completely different from A&M where everything was mix and match.
$40 Million a year buys you the WORKS
With the Billions being thrown by ESPN, and with unscrupulous ADs and BMDs…. this is coming.

Boy some great points. I really had not given that a lot of thought. Buy this is has happened some what with Prime time and
the Buffs at Colorado. They are doing it at a slower rate with coaches but there working on it. I really question how good a coach
Prime Time is, as far as a coach, but he has been hiring some good ones around him. I question how long that works in the long
term with them, but the short term has work very well.
