Late Report on Men's Tennis and an Update or Two & a New Signee!

I completely missed the last Men's Tennis Match on Sunday the 25th of February while out a the Mary Nutter Softball Tourney. That day the Sooner Men played Cornell in Norman at the Headington Tennis Center.

The match against Cornell included some shuffling of the doubles teams but the Sooners prevailed to win 4-3 as the Sooners won four singles matches to win the match. Here is the Sooner staff writers article about the Sooner win over Cornell.

The Sooner Men's Tennis Program and Coach Nick Crowell announced the addition of Vojtech Petr to the Oklahoma men's tennis team for the 2024-2025 season last week.

"We could not be more excited to officially announce the signing of Vojtech Petr," Crowell said. "He has been one of the best juniors in the world for some time now and has excelled throughout his career in the junior Grand Slams and the ITF Futures tours. We are excited to help him reach his goals and develop as a player and person."
