Somebody's got to be #65 or whatever. Besides, remember that there are 2 types of college sports fans:1)Sooner Fans 2)Sooner haters!
Furthermore, the OKC Thunder does OU men's basketball no favors by being in the same market as OU men's basketball. Somebody talk the important folks in Austin into bringing the Thunder down there...PLEEZE! :ou:

...I agree! Even with the first 20 win season since Buddy left.
Think Moser will be back, but also think he's sitting on a heater for year 4.
The rash of injuries were a factor down the stretch, and can't help but think the relative blowout loss to the shorthorns late season was the dagger in the heart for OU's chances to make the Big Dance.

Apparently it was a once in 10-15 year occurrence where 5 “play in” teams won and got in supplanting the bottom 5 team which is where OU was…

The “play in” teams are those that wont be invited but if they win their last game they are required to be in the tournament, usually a conf tournament…

They say usually it is 1 or 2 play ins winning or 0 …..

Virginia, which was chosen over OU for the NCAA tournament, embarrassed the selection committee and the ACC by scoring only 14 points in the 1st half of their play-in game against Colorado St. last night.

The final was CSU 67 - V 42. This is the 2nd lowest amount of points scored in the NCAA tournament by an ACC team since 2017, when Virginia scored 39 points against Florida.

Virginia, which has had trouble scoring all season, hit a pitiful 17% of their 1st half shots and 25% for the game. Colorado St hit 55% of their shots for the game and out rebounded V 43-24.

V earned their invite to the NCAAs with 2 Quad 1 wins this season and a 3rd place finish in the ACC. V has not won a tournament game since winning the National Championship in 2019.
