#6 now - Tennessee – 3-0 – conf 0-0
63.2 Pts per game scored – 4.3 Pts per game allowed - The Volunteers have a 41-point win over q #24 ranked team on the road.
#15 now - Oklahoma – 3-0 – conf 0-0
33.7 Pts per game scored – 14.7 Pts per game allowed - The Sooners have scored 64 points on 32 drives not following a turnover. The Sooners have scored on 37 points, 4 TDs and 3 Field Goals in 7 drives.
The first SEC game in the Sooners history may come down to the number of turnovers the Sooners can generate with their veteran defense as well as their overall play for the whole game. The game probably needs to be a game with both teams scoring in the 20's for Oklahoma to be successful. The Sooner offense needs to be turnover free as well. If they can score 17 points without the benefit of a turnover, the Sooners could be in good shape. They probably need two scores after a turnover.

It may be my calculator is wonky, but OU's points per game allowed is 11.3. If you exclude the pick 6 which shouldn't go on the defense, it's 9 points per game allowed.
I agree that we have a shot in this game, but it will take A+ games from both our D and O.
