Bottom post of the previous page:

To be honest, I just copied the template above and experimented with it until I got it the way I wanted. I have no idea why the code works. You'd need to ask Swampy! :D

I am still learning the nuances of the software.

A few things-I haven't figured out how to post multiple tables without putting text between the tables 1st. The tables tend to merge if you do not have text between them.

I will type all of my text, leaving a couple of lines where I want the tables. After running my Excel table through the conversion software, I then upload the converted table into the 1st set of blank lines (I have found you do not need as many blank lines as rows in your table. The inserted table will push your next text paragraph down to make room.)

Repeat with further tables.

Once you paste your "table" into the post, the "table" will not appear in straight columns until you submit the post.

This works most of the time (meaning I don't know why the following happens). I have had problems with multiple tables not straightening up when the post has been submitted. When that happens, edit your post by deleting the bad tables. Then re-add the tables one-at-a-time (convert the Excel file, put your post in edit mode, paste the table into your post and submit the post. Your table should look correct.) Repeat until done.

One thing I have found is to not leave your 1st column blank. The columns do not straighten out properly.

Hope this helps.
