Week 11 Pick'em Games - Week 10 Results

Well, we’ve turned the page to November and… whoa!! Hold on a minute! Back up the bus!! It can’t possibly be November already! You mean we’re only 3 games from the end of another season? How does it go by so fast? But sadly, that’s where we stand. And just as sadly, it hasn’t been the season we had hoped for. Far from it. In fact, if we’re being truthful, it’s been a big disappointment. Now we’re relegated to just hoping to see some positives heading into next season. It’s a sad state of affairs but thankfully, hope springs eternal! So, while we may not be an active participant in Championship November other than playing the role of a spoiler, we can start paying close attention to coaching changes, portal opportunities and recruiting class signees that will help to bolster the roster going forward. Fortunately, seasons like this have been a rarity in Norman, and the bounce back has usually been quick and decisive. So, here’s hoping we start to see real improvement and some tangible positives as we close out this season and set our sights on a major rebound going into 2025. There are three more high profile games on the schedule, and the Sooners need to pick one of them off to keep their bowl streak alive. And that’s something to keep hope alive for!

Meanwhile, over in our Pick’em contest, former 2-time regular season champion, bvillesooner2 definitely kept his Week 10 chances alive! In fact, he kept them alive all the way to the Pick’em winner’s circle! Well done, bville! It came down to the final game of the night before everything was decided. Fortunately for you, hitching your wagon to the Baptist revival in Waco turned out to be a winning move! Enjoy the spoils of your return trip to the Pick’em throne room! Narrowly missing a chance to be the one to bask in the glory of our Pick’em bragging rights was yours truly, EMan, missing out on occupying the catbird seat by 5 points. Of course, anybody that actually picked Aggie-Lite to win doesn’t deserve to dwell in the Pick’em spotlight! Guilty as charged! Sigh… Rounding out the rest of our Top Five this week we have Bronco holding down third, with gcruse7 and Soonerator in fourth and fifth respectively.

Moving over to our regular season championship, cushcreekmont not only maintained his hold at the top of our leaderboard for the third consecutive week, but also expanded his advantage somewhat and is now up by 17 over our current runner-up, Bronco. In third place this week is gcruse7, followed by Soonerator and OUcharlie in fourth and fifth. You can see all the year-to-date standings by clicking HERE.
