What’s Up Timers?
Great to see this board still up and running. I took a long break from the internet since 2020. Deleted everything but LinkedIn. Covid election year just got stupid. Deleted all news apps as well. Still don’t watch or read news. I still go to all OU Football home games. Now with my grandsons, they are 10 & 9 now. I have them bleeding Crimson. Sufficiently Boomer brainwashed. We went to Auburn, Missouri, & LSU away games this year, and of course Texas. Planning to go to Alabama and South Carolina next year. Missouri campus somehow got uglier. Their fans are still jerks. Auburn’s campus was very nice and people were friendly. Stadium is ugly and worn out. LSU campus was very ugly. Not impressed at all. Stadium is big but that’s it. Very ugly and industrial. LSU fans were surprisingly nice. Of course I’ve already been to Tennessee and Bama in the day. Didn’t make it to Ole Miss. I’ll catch that next time around. Our goal is make it to all SEC venues over the next few years. Hoping to retire in 4 or 5 years. We bought a townhouse on Navarre Beach earlier this year. Ready to change my handle to Navarre Sooner. Easy drive from Navarre to almost every SEC venue.
Here’s hoping for a better 2025 season.
BOOMER!

..hello AJ...glad to hear you're doing well.
ST is the best Old school MB there is. The mostly civil and community nature of this group has proven resilient over the years.
Some well informed, devoted and Mature SOONER fans here that throw out great takes, varied opinions and a little humor to boot.
Don't be a stranger.

...average age here is 64.
We're like the Farmers Insurance commercial..."we know a thing or two, because we've seen a thing or two."[/i
You'll fit right back in.

Well I will be damned. Me and the boys were talking about you on our trip to Ole Miss, wondered where you were. Now we know.
I make big plays in big games, that's all.

Hope good things were said. I had tickets to Ole Miss. grandson got sick and the other one couldn’t go and I’m fresh out of road dogs. I’m not allowed to talk to my ex son-in-law. Feels like I got divorced sometimes. My daughter said I could still take him to games but I know better.
