Here are the results from the SEC Men's BB games on Tuesday - Jan 14th:

• #11 Texas A&M at # 8 Kentucky - ESPN2 - 6 PM CST - Game of the Week => #8 Kentucky defeated A&M 81-69 in game played in Lexington.

• #15 Mississippi State at #1 Auburn - SECN - 6 PM CST => #1 Auburn played like a #1 as they defeated #15 Mississippi State 88-66 in Auburn.

• #21 Ole Miss at #4 Alabama - ESPNU - 6 PM CST => #21 Ole Miss picked up a big win on the road at #4 Alabama as they beat the Tide 74-64.

• RV34 Missouri at #5 Florida - ESPNU - 8 PM CST => In the upset of the night, RV34 Missouri defeated the #5 Florida team playing at home, 83-82. Missouri held a 16-point lead at half and Florida was never in the lead going down the stetch as Florida on got to within 1 point as they ended the game making a 3-point bucket.

• Arkansas at LSU - SECN - 8 PM CST => LSU won at home with a 2nd half surge to take the lead and held on 78-74 to defeat Arkansas.

Here are the results from the SEC games on Wednesday - Jan 15th:

• South Carolina at Vanderbilt - SECN - 5 PM CST => Vanderbilt won at home over South Carolina 66-63 on a last second offensive rebound with a foul added for a closing 3-point play. South Carolina rallied late in the 2nd Half to tie the score several times, but Vandy never trailed in the 2nd Half.

• #23 Georgia at #6 Tennessee - SECN - 7 PM CST => #6 Tennessee won on their home court 74-56 over #23 Georgia.

• Texas at RV27 Oklahoma - SECN - SECN - 9 PM CST => Texas won by 4 points, 77-73 on the road in Norman over Oklahoma. The game was a tail of two halves, the 1st Half won by Texas by 16 points and the 2nd Half won by OU by 12 points. Moore, for OU, had 29 points, Pope, for Texas, had 27 points.

Here are the reuslts of the SEC Men's games on Saturday - Jan 18th:

• #4 Alabama at #8 Kentucky - ESPN - 11 AM CST - Game of the Weekend ==> #4 Alabama won the game at Lexington, 102 -97 over #8 Kentucky. The game was tied at 81-81 at the 5:13 mark but Alabama outscored Kentucky 9-0 in the next two mintes and 21-16 the last 5 minutes of the game.

• #1 Auburn at #23 Georgia - SECN - Noon CST ==> #1 Auburn won in Athens, 70-68 over #23 Georgia. Georgia was never closer than those 2 points in the second half that I saw. Auburn continues to win without their post player, Johni Broom, who has a bad ankle. Broom averages 18 points and almost 11 rebounds a game.

• #6 Tennessee at Vanderbilt - SSECN 2:30 CST ==> Vanderbilt, playing in Nashville won the battle of Tennessee as they upset #6 Tennessee 76-75. Vandy lead at half by six points at 41-35. Vanderbilt never trailed in the second half and led 76-70 at the 1:39 mark of the second half but di dnot score the rest of the game. Tennessee had two free throws to tie th game with 2 seconds left. Tennessee made the first one and missed the second. The Volunteers got the offensive rebound but on a dead ball. IT does not look like Tennessee got a dinal shot off before time expired.

• Texas at #5 Florida - ESPN2 - 3 PM CST ==> #5 Florida beat Texas by 24 points, 84-60 in Tallahassee.

• South Carolina at RV27 Oklahoma - ESPNU - 3 PM CST ==> After leading by 4 points at the half, Oklahoma won 82-62 with a strong second half of basketball.

• Arkansas at RV34 Missouri - SECN - 5 PM CST ==> Missouri won at home, 83-65 over Arkansas.

• #21 Ole Miss at #15 Mississippi State - ESPN2 - 5 PM CST ==> The game was tied at 74-74 after 40 minutes of play. In the overtime, #15 Mississippi State made a 3-pointer to take the lead at 79-77 and and won the game 84-81 over #21 Ole Miss in Starkville, MS.

• LSU at #11 Texas A&M - SECN - 7 :30 CST ==> #11 A&M won in College Station, 68-57 over LSU.
