The No. 6 Oklahoma Men's and No. 10 Women's track and field team hits the road for the Steve Miller Invitational hosted by Kansas State Friday at the Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track in Manhattan, Kan.
Field events are set for 1:45 p.m. and running events begin at 2:20 p.m. 54 athletes are primed to compete in Manhattan.

The Oklahoma Men's and Women's Track and Field Team closed out the Steve Miller Invitational hosted by Kansas State on Friday night at the Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track, highlighted by school record breaking performances from Olivia Lueking and Abby Jepchirchir.
Olivia Lueking kicked off the meet with a personal-best clearance of 4.52m (14'10") to break the school record, which she previously set at the Red Raider Invitational on Jan. 24. Lueking also secured the Steve Miller Invitational record. The mark is No. 1 in the SEC and No. 6 in the NCAA so far this season.
Abby Jepchirchir raced in the women's 800-meter run Friday night, breaking the 21-year-old school record set in 2004 with a 2:05.75 time. Jepchirchir finished third overall in the event but was the first collegian to cross the line.

In the women's weight throw, Kennedy Clarke posted a personal-best mark of 20.41m (66'1.50") for second place.
Tucker Smith found success in the men's shot put, winning the event with a 19.22m (63'0.75") toss to break the Cliff Rovelto Indoor track facility record.
Breaking into OU's top-ten performance list, Austin Kiser ran a career-best 7.84 in the 60-meter hurdles finals for third place.
The Sooners collected five more event titles from Tyson Ritz (high jump), Logan Seger (mile), Samuel Toili (600 yard), Koryee Wyatt (60-meter dash) and Paige Low (shot put).
The Oklahoma T&F team heads to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Tyson Invitational Feb. 14-15.
