Landry gives up 5 runs in the top of the 4th. It would be nice if OU could find a third pitcher.
5-3 Tenn M-4th
5-3 Tenn M-4th
Has anyone received any confirmed updates on when Audrey Lowry might be ready to pitch again? It would be great if she could return to her original form after the Tennessee series is over.

This reminds me of the OSU series last year....Sure wish we could have held onto the lead. But we have to learn from this and get tougher. I think last year the OSU series and the texas series helped in the long run. We have to get better pitching and get our hitters to do better at clutch hitting. Who would have thought that Deal would have looked like our best pitcher this weekend. I think so much of it is about matchups - and this series Landry just wasn't a good matchup for Tenn and Deal was. We probably should have started with her game 1 just to give Landry some rest.
It is what it is. OU doesn't have to be the best team in March - they need to just get better and have a shot at being the best team in May/June.

If we can improve up to or near talent level, and have the right attitude at the end of the regular season, all we have to attain is a top 8 ranking, in order to be properly situated for the WCWS.
You need to brace yourself. This team isn't likely to finish the regular season in the top 8. It's a tall task, and we have a.difficult schedule to finish out the season. We'll be better next year if we can get some pitchers. There are no paige parkers anymore. What a warrior she was.inconnu wrote: Sun Mar 30, 2025 3:29 pm If we can improve up to or near talent level, and have the right attitude at the end of the regular season, all we have to attain is a top 8 ranking, in order to be properly situated for the WCWS.

Exactly! It’s best that we experience this now versus 3/4 weeks down the road. We still have to remember that only 5 players on this team were involved in the NC last year. The talent is there but the experience is not…yet!SoonerGirl1201 wrote: Sun Mar 30, 2025 3:03 pm This reminds me of the OSU series last year....Sure wish we could have held onto the lead. Also, the conference teams we have played so far are WAY better than any Big 12 team we played last season not named whorn or o-stank, with a very young, inexperienced team, albeit talented.

What I heard was she was supposed to throw a little in the bullpen....last Thursday I think....but I have not heard how that went nor when (or if) she will be back.viacool wrote: Sun Mar 30, 2025 2:44 pm Has anyone received any confirmed updates on when Audrey Lowry might be ready to pitch again? I will say that I did see Lowry in the pen this weekend doing some drills and throwing (not sure how hard) for a period of time.TropicalSooner wrote: Mon Mar 31, 2025 10:27 amWhat I heard was she was supposed to throw a little in the bullpen....last Thursday I think....but I have not heard how that went nor when (or if) she will be back.viacool wrote: Sun Mar 30, 2025 2:44 pm Has anyone received any confirmed updates on when Audrey Lowry might be ready to pitch again?
