I think Allyssa Parker is a big sleeper who will be a player and a pitcher in the 2026 Class and be a standout player.

Many things have to come together during any given year for a team to win a World Series. That is true for OU and for everyone else. Sometimes those “things” are harder - needing a freshman class to live up to their billing. Needing transfers to benefit from new coaching and out-perform their history. Lots more too.

At OU, the last several years we have had the luxury that our ‘things” are not that big a stretch. We had a core group of players that had already performed at the top of their game - we just needed them to be close to their former selves.

In 2025, we have more “things” that need to happen for us to win it all. That’s in comparison to our prior teams, not necessarily in comparison to the other teams in 2025. From that perspective, I like where our roster wound up. It’ll be fun to watch these ladies grow and develop. Be fun for coach to actually have to coach again - there’s a world of difference between coaching Kinzie Hansen as a 5th year and coaching a 18 year old hotshot, still wet behind the ears.
