OU Women's BB host Wichita State tonight @ LNC - 6 PM

The 10-1 Oklahoma Sooners W BB team hosts Wichita State (9-3) tonight at LNC at 6 PM. The Sooners set just outside the Top 25 teams in the country in the rankings and in the 38th spot by the NET rankings. One more non-conference win would send the Sooner Women to the Big 12 play with an 11-1 record and prepared for the tough upcoming Big 12 schedule.

Here is the staff article about tonight's game:

I wonder if Lampkin, Perkins and perhaps Gregory will be available to play tonight as they missed the Utah game for unspecified reasons. Against Utah, OU played only 8 players against Utah after playing with a 10-player 'rotation' in most games during the year. Depth is a key for OU and it would help if everyone could play tonight.

One note about the Big 12 Women's BB teams. The COVID bug has hit every team in the Big 12 in some way except for OU and Iowa State. The other 8 teams have had to cancel games in the last 10-12 days due to player shortages due to COVID. It will likely be a factor during the conference schedule.

The game is on Bally Sports (as long as they don't show the Pelicans instead) at 6 PM. Should be over in time to watch the KO of the Alamo Bowl.
