OU walked in a run in the top of the 8th, and then we went down in the bottom of the inning. Aggies win 4-3.

Our bats better wake up soon, or it will be a short trip in the post-season.

Yeah, OUr pitching was not that great, either. Pokes better count themselves lucky that Jordy was unable to pitch. I love Hope, but she is not the Sooner that I want in the circle in clutch moments, when the pressure is on. She walks too many in pressure situations.

Combined with our bats going quiet lately and Jordy not being available, our postseason could be a short one.

Two days in a row espn cut off the end of OU games. Today it came back on in the last inning to finish the game.

I will never understand the purpose of taking first strike pitches right down the middle. If things don't change regionals are going to be a lot of trouble and supers could be out of the picture. Offense that doesn't show up and free passes don't get the job done. Troutwein throwing alot of pitches yesterday in this heat and May with not alot of innings for the pressure for this time of year along with the hit and miss offense, this is what happens.

Trautwein took the L.
May struggled in the 4th and was relieved.
May came back in the 7th.
They both gave up 2 runs, all earned.

I’m not going to panic this team is loaded and had just played them 3 games last week. Its not easy to win 4 straight and its Bedlam. Of course we need Bahl back healthy but I know this team will make it to OKC in June. 2 losses out of what, 51 games?

Too much takent to start worrying for me. What a great year they’ve had so far.

I know the first 2 OSU runs were on base due to walks and I think at least 1 of the other 2 was also? Maybe all 4.

Both Hope and Nicole struggled with the zone and walked multiple batters in a couple of key spots. That seems to be a bit of a problem for them. I thought we pitched elite for 5 of the 8 innings and just scuffled in the others. I think OSU would say the same.

I think the ladies will walk away really pissed off and I think that is good for them. I think we need a healthy Jordy by next Saturday or so!

I'm disappointed in the loss but not entirely surprised. I never got the impression this tournament was all that important to Patty and the team. On a positive note, there were some impressive defensive gems from Grace Lyons and one from Jayda to hold a sure-fire double to a single. Johns is not playing as well as she was earlier in the season, offensively or defensively.
