I took three pictures of the construction activity at the new "Love's Field". The first picture is of the south end of the area. It looks like they are putting water/sewer/drainage lines in place.

This picture is of the center area of the construction. Yesterday it looked like this was a staging area for equipment. It also looks like they are moving the "Love's Field" sign outside the perimeter fencing.

This picture is of the north end of the construction, there is a 'Bobcat" spreading out gravel around the small trees that are left in this area. I have no idea what this is leading to.

Weekly Pictures: 1-8-2022
The north end of the area is now covered with gravel. I am thinking that is for construction equipment staging to keep it out of the mud and dirt. It might also be an area in the future for parking of the staff, players and concession deliveries maybe. I would imagine that this currently is just a staging area and it could change in the future though.

The field itself will be in the center portion of the area as they continue to level and remove dirt there. (Middle picture)

From what I can see, if you look at the bottom picture, it looks like the constructions has left trees on the east side of the area. That leads my to believe that the south entry way across from the parking at LNC will be on the west side close to the gymnastics facility. that makes sense to me because of the medium crossing on Imhof at that location.

I just found this - proof that they aren't just parking the work trucks and heavy equipment on the site, but actually using them

Here are a couple pics from Friday 1-13. It is hard to see the backhoe but the construction is digging out a hole and loading the dirt in a spreader. the dirt is being moved from the south central area of the construction to the north where the outfield 'terraces' might be located. At least tha is what I think.
