Post by OUBeliever56A »

The Men's Big 12 Basketball Standings are very close at the top of the standings. There are now 7 teams within 2 games of each other in the standings.

1st - Texas - 8-3 in conf, and 19-5 overall - NET ranking of #10
T2nd - Baylor - 7-4 in conf. and 18-6 overall - NET ranking of #11
T2nd - Iowa State - 7-4 in conf. and 16-7 overall - NET ranking of #13
T2nd - Kansas - 7-4 in conf. and 19-5 overall - NET ranking of #9
T2nd - Kansas State - 7-4 in conf. and 19-5 overall - NET ranking of #17
T6th - Oklahoma State - 6-5 in conf. and 17-7 overall - NET ranking of #34
T6th - TCU - 6-5 in conf. and 17-7 overall - NET ranking of #24
8th - West Virginia - 4-7 in conf. and 15-9 overall - NET ranking of #19
9th - Oklahoma - 2-9 in conf. and 12-12 overall - NET ranking of #65
10th - Texas Tech - 1-10 on conf. and 12-12 overall - NET ranking of #74
On Saturday, these are the games.

Texas hosts West Virginia - Can WV make the Longhorns fall out of first place all-alone. Probably not.
Iowa State hosts Oklahoma State - This is a big game for the Cowboys. Can they surprise I-State in Ames. Doubtful.
Baylor at TCU - Can TCU without Miles stay with Baylor, probably not? But TCU could make a big stand at home to win.
Kansas at Oklahoma - Can Oklahoma's new quicker lineup make a difference against Kansas. Quick seems to bother Kansas. OU might surprise at home on Saturday.
Kansas State at Texas Tech - Tech can be tough in Lubbock. K-State needs to take care of business. K-State probably wins but I can see an upset.
