I am hopeful (not very confident) that PM can put a roster together this year that can/will play his style of ball, together and do it consistently. I know the Portal has opened and he has just under 60 days to use it.

If he keeps Los Uzan, Otega Oweh and signees Kaden Cooper & Jacolb Cole plus brings in other good portal talent then we’ll be good. Gotta keep these core players though.

Based on his PT at the end of the season, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. He had very few appearances on the court down the stretch. As OU Guy said, it's imperative Moser keep Uzan and Oweh. If he does that, with the players coming in he'll start to have a pretty decent nucleus going forward.

I would hate to be a BB coach nowadays. First you have to worry if you get too good a player he’ll bolt to NBA after 1, or 2 years. Then you have to fight portal. Throw in NIL too. Coaches will have shorter leashes overall. I think Moser turns it around next year its a big one too as its last year prior to SEC play. Need to go in with a 4 year coach vice a new coach. 23/24 season will be huge for if we can get back in the hunt or start over again. I think he’ll do it he has a lot of energy to sell program plus admin that has lots of programs plus OU has good NIL groups.

Cortes

I found Cortes to be a perplexing player (note - I never saw him play in person and ESPN+ decreased it even more).

There were times he would be the best player on the court and other times that it looked like he could not chew gum and dribble at the same time.

He is not the guard to build the team around but could be a very good back-up -- if he could keep his focus.

I wish him luck where ever he lands.

How many times has he entered the portal? Didn't he have to get a waiver to transfer to OU? And didn't he have a personal problem that kept him off the court the 1st part of the season?

This may be one of those cases of improvement by subtraction.

It’s always seemed to me that these waivers are granted at the drop of a hat.

I seen blurbs on my cell phone that both Jalen Hill and Jacob Groves have entered the portal. Can anyone confirm this?
