(Sorry that I missed this. I thought the Women's Golf Tourney started on Sunday.)

The Oklahoma Women's Sooner Golf Team was in Tallahassee, FL this weekend starting on Friday to compete the 3-day Florida State Match Up Tourney.

Here is the staff wrtiers article about the tourney preview for the Women's Golf Team.

The Oklahoma Sooner Women's Golf Team maintained their 7th place in the standings with their Sunday round despite the higher scores for the day by the team.

Here is the staff wrtiers article about the FSU Matchup Tourney this weekend.

Something I have noticed about the Sooner Women's team is that the #1 designated player in tournaments rarely plays all that well. It seems that the Sooners have fairly good players but truly do not have a #1 player on the squad. When you are the #1 player on the team, you will be playing against very good players in your trio or foursome. The pressure becomes higher due to that for the #1. It seems that the pressure gets to the Sooner that is playing in the #1 spot.

7th Place - Oklahoma 302 307 317 = 926 (52 over Par)
T23 Savannah Barber (5) 75 78 76 = 229 (13 over Par)
T25 Mikhaela Fortuna (3) 74 77 79 = 230 (14 over Par)
T28 Nina Lang (2) 75 77 79 = 231 (15 over Par)
T45 Kaylee Vesely (1) 78 77 83 = 238 (22 over Par)
54 Raychel Nelke (4) 80 76 86 = 242 (26 over Par)

53 Emily Hun (Oklahoma) 79 75 87 = 241 (25 over Par)

The Sooners are back in action next weekend in the Clemson Invitational March 24-26.

Have a good week in practice this week!
