Tech hits a 3 run Homer and leads Texas 5-2. This could be the year of the dogs in the Big 12 Tournament. Day 1 anyway!

Tech is changing pitchers every inning against Texas like they did against the Sooners.

Well....this kind of league-leading performance is why Baylor's Coach was on par with Coach Gasso in the Big 12 Coach of the Year Awards! It's the brilliant game planning and in-game decision-making that made him Patty's only equal this year in the Big 12. Losing 3 out of 4 games to Iowa State isn't as easy as it looks, folks! It takes dedication and a unique understanding of the game. Leading an historical and nation-leading 40+ game winning streak this year (4th in a row?) is not anything special when compared to Baylor's Head Coach THIS year. No sir. No mam.

Seriously - the Big12 has to try and take the shine off the Sooners somehow, but really - Co-Coach? When has that ever been done before? Big12 karma bites back though nicely with the choke job to Iowa State. There is no BIg12 coach on par with Patty and I will be so glad to get out of this league.

Kansas OSU game gets suspended due to weather with Kansas leading 3-1 after 3 innings. Will resume at 10:00am in the morning

OSU and Kansas are now in the top of the 4th and KU leads 3-1 - and there is a rain delay. I have to say it - something isn't right with Kelly Maxwell. I actually kind of feel bad for her. I'm not thinking it is something physical because if it was surely they wouldn't keep putting her out there. If it is something mental, maybe she needs to transfer somewhere next year. Why I jumped to that I dunno - but I'll be honest in saying that I'd love to have her here (to fill Storako's place maybe) although that may be totally out of the question. I think she redshirted in 2019 and basically played 2020-23. So, since she has a covid year and the redshirt - am I right in saying she has 1 more year? I guess I just look at OU as a great place to rehabilitate great pitchers.

At any rate, I'm no OSU fan, but my heart goes out to her because she has been one of the best and just doesn't look herself at all over the last 10 games or so.
