The #13 Ranked Oklahoma Sooner Women's Tennis Team will play #3 Georgia today at 4 PM CST.

The Sooners trip to the Super Regional is their first back-to-back berths into the Super Regional Round in the program's history.

A win on Friday would send OU to Orlando, Fla., and into the Elite Eight to face the winner of No. 5 Michigan vs. No. 12 Virginia.

The Sooner Women's Team fell to Georgia in the Super Regional round of play in Athens on Friday 4-1. The Bulldogs won the Doubles point from the Sooners which always presents a challenge to the Sooners. Layne Sleeth won her #1 Singles match to give the Sooners their lone point. It is a tough way for the Sooner Women's season to end.

The strong Sooner Women's season comes to a close now with a 22-10 records in duals. Three Sooners will move on to the Elite Eight to represent Oklahoma. Sleeth in the #1 singles and the Corley Sisters, Ivana and Carmen, in the #1 Doubles play.

The last two season by the Sooner Women have been groundbreaking for the program. Once again, congratulations to the Sooner Women.
