Bottom post of the previous page:

I moved to the other end of the couch for the bottom of the 5th to change up the Sooner offensive mojo. You're welcome! :D

I'm hearing thunder here in Norman. Hopefully it won't impact the game.

Sanders draws a 6 pitch walk, runners first and 2nd, 2 outs
Hodge drives a ground ball off the glove of Schultz, bases loaded on an E3
Lyons struck out swinging

Sooners leave 3 and need 3 outs to get the win!

G3 hasn't been swinging the bat well at all so far this WCWS, but her fielding is more than enough to justify keeping her in the lineup. She seems to be taking some awfully good-looking pitches.

Boomer! OU Wins.

Winning and staying in the Winner bracket is what a team needs to do to succeed in this tournament. Once a team loses it becomes really difficult to advance

For most of the season I felt like this team had three “#1” pitchers.

But lately it feels like Jordy has separated herself a bit from the other two. I think she is the true ace of the staff now.

If it’s not too much work, I wouldn’t mind seeing her start every game the rest of the way. JMO

That was a tough one. Sooners have played the last 3 games against stellar, top-tier pitchers.......That has to bode well moving forward.
