When the pac 12 collapses into oblivion, the Rose Bowl will have to evolve. Perhaps it can be the permanent sponsor of the Big 10 Championship Game instead of what it has been all these years.

Maybe B1G will let Washington and Oregon join and then form a 4 team Pacific Division. They could use the Rose Bowl for the Pacific Division Championship game, just to keep the cobwebs off the arches.

Rumor has been floating around since March or April. I think it hinges on the new non-existent PAC media deal. If it's significantly worse then the B12 media deal in terms of $$ and exposure then they are heading to B12. Oregon and Washington NOT going to B12, the B1G has already said they can join, just haven't extended 'official offer'. If Colorado goes to B12, I would expect the OFFICIAL B1G offers for Oregon and Washington to follow. B1G doesn't want to be responsible for Killing the PAC. They are hoping the B12 does the dirty deed.

According to Espn and everyone else Colorado to B12 is happening.... B12 voted to accept.... If true The PAC is done stick a fork in them.

Colorado is no loss on it's own. They can easily be replaced by San Diego State or San Jose State, both of which have better track records the past several years.

Now, if UO and Washington go out, maybe even Utah, we're talking about a complete destruction of the P5 conference.

Sooooo, my thoughts are the Pac is mostly down for the count. This “might” help take Oregon out of some recruits destination. And might cajse decommits. And might cause portals.

Now, if they joined the B12 with Wash, Ducks could win it most years. But recruiting would still drop some.

Their challenge is no TV deal yet. SD added won’t help either, for bigger TV deal. Schools have to look long term and B12 has a great TV deal where any add ins get same deal. Looking at lokg term TV revenue loss means they need to look for a new conference imo

The ACC may not be far behind. It's all over the net that FSU is looking to get out to either the SEC or BIG. If Clemson and NC joins them, well say goodbye. Yes I know about the buy-outs.
