Heard on Plank this morning that Patty hosted 4 recruits this weekend.....and top recruits too.....4 of the top 8 or something like that.
Need to go back and listen to hour 2 of his show again. He was talking FB and saw Patty's tweet and made a quick comment.

Sometimes I am surprised about how much 'he is not sure of''. He is THE Voice of OU Softball. I wish he did follow recruiting and new freshman players and knew more about them. He sometimes does not really know positions for example. What else could Coach Gasso's tweet be about but a 2025 Recruit that has committed? There are no Top 8 recruits left for 2024 and they should be in class. Same for the portal.

At least he did mention she had 4 recruits and they were all top recruits. Gave me hope. Hope we got a big time pitcher.

I like Chris Plank an awful lot as a radio host, a radio play-by-play announcer and when he is at all OU Softball events. But sometimes I am surprised that he does not follow recruiting for OU Softball any closer than he appears to do. Yes, he does have other 'full-time' jobs and a family and many things that pull at his time. It was not meant as criticism, just surprised sometimes.

I'm sorry if my post came across as objectionable. It was not intended that way at all.
I love Plank to death and listen to him as often as I can and am a big fan. Football pays the bills and it's a big task covering that and he does that very well--like he does Softball in the Spring.
I was listening to him on the radio driving to errands this morning and his memory lapse just startled me. I was trying to mention it in a funny and entertaining way, but it obviously didn't come across that way.
I should have worded it better.

Since, reportedly, there were 4 recruits visiting this past weekend, I have a feeling we will see a few more "Go BOOMER!!" tweets from Coach Patty in the near future.
