Someone was asking about larger fonts. i think that is now configurable by user. Go to your User Control Panel and adjust your global preferences if you want to make changes

So safari has problems with that captcha. i think safari probably will work fine after you are registered

options to get registered are
use another browser to register
PM OU_Tom (on the old board) your info - handle, temp password and email address

i think that i the fixed problem with pasting tweets and other embedded videos into posts. it was working great for mods/admins but didn't work for anyone else

Like everyone else I'm still trying to learn this new board as well. I changed my board preference to Reds (2020) in my User Control Panel and so far I'm seeing all the posts on one page. Not sure if I can limit it to a set number or not. Still playing with things. Also, I personally think the Reds (2020) option looks really good and is closer to the old board. But hey, that's just me.

I'm thinking about changing my handle, but don't want too until after the current season. Is it against the rules to create a second name now or do I have to wait?

I noticed some Picems players have change handles. How is that going to work when the old board shuts down and this board's picems takes over and doesn't recognize the name chnges? Hope that makes sense.

I personally don't have a problem with changing handles.

So pickem uses user ids which are different between the 2 boards. Once we get everyone registered in the new board then i am going to convert the old picks to use use the new ids. So we should be able to have have scores for the year after we contest to new boards.

I will need to know who changes so i can do this conversion. no biggie

If anyone is having issues with the site having red print with a black background, you are probably in dark mode. Go to the top right of the page and look for a 'moon'. If you click on the 'moon' it will flip back into light mode. In light mode, the print is black and the background is white.

dark mode is actually useful if you are viewing the screen in the dark.

Yeah that might be nice to have a "like" feature too. Maybe ♥

Tom, the board is working great thanks to your hard work.

One minor question. On phone using Silver SE, when I either start a thread or make a post in one - all the emoticons are listed in the space between the area you type and the function buttons. So if I want to post a picture and need to get to the picture icon to click it - I have to scroll way up thru all emoticons.

Not sure if there is a way to put all emoticons in a group and not be listed by default. Then when needed could click on group header and it populates them? Its probably more amplified on phone than desktop.

I can't get squat done resizing an avatar. I got it down to below 24 and I could hardly make out what it was and it still wasn't ok for this site. Old dog - new trick -- not going well

there are a bunch of configuration settings related to images/avatars and I think that they are all bigger here than the old board.

avator size limits -
here 128x128px 15K
old board 128x128px 25K

image limit on both boards 500K

We can make limits bigger if you want. how big do you want it?

maybe you could send me images/avatars that you are having problems with and i can change limits if they exist?
