So this forum software is different than what we were using on the old board.

We are all new to this software so don't be shy about asking for help.

If you are trying to figure out how do something or something isn't working like you think it should then post about it here in this thread.

Try to include a descriptive explanation of what you are doing and what you think should happen. We can't be very helpful until we have some good details about what you are doing.

Or another alternative to posting in this thread is to send an email or PM to a moderator. We will help you out

Need a picture shrinker new site like old site photos to big even my avatar.

I increased the size for avatars. Can you try to add your avatar again? If that doesn't work, can you PM the picture that you are trying to use?

You might consider putting the forum rules thread (first thread) as a sticky so it doesn't get lost after this gets going. Just a thought.

I see the "report" and the "quote" button for each post. Are there plans for a "like" button or "up and down votes" for a post as well?

I would "like" this but there is not a button to do so. Good idea!

i think that there is an extension that is just like the 'like'feature . i will investigate if it is possible to add it

gcruse7 said he resized his avatar and it worked (other board post). That's my problem, I have no idea how to reduce it to make it fit. I have my avatar picture downloaded to a file, my favorites, pictures and desktop and none of them worked or gave me an option to reduce. :sherri:

so i figured out how to update avators. if anyone else needs me to grab your avator off old site, i can do that

Any way to get a dark theme for the board? The bright colors are hard on my eyes.

The board and posts are all very light colored, like it's mostly faded. How do I change the board font/darkness for my settings? It's hard to read, but I had to use desktop to register so maybe once I use my phone it gets darker? I use phone 99.9% of time so that's the key.

so currently there are 2 styles - Milk and prosilver light (prosilver is a blue color). Currently you can pick which one you want to display of the two.
If anyone wants to check out other style,
go to User Control Panel (top right)
go to Board preferences
Change my board style



We can add other styles that you could use.

If you want other styles, maybe you could start a thread and discuss it with others then we can add some more styles. Or at least recommend a dark style that you like
