OU vs Oklahoma State - Pick the Score Contest

Well, a combination of a road game in Lawrence that I'm trying to forget and World Series road games in Arizona that I am very much enjoying, and I am once again very late getting the Pick the Score contest going. No one won last week's contest, and for the sake of time I won't list all of the weekly winners.

This week brings us to Bedlam - the last one for the foreseeable future! BV loaded the captains for this game with Oklahomans. After starting the season looking really poor, the Pokes have found something in their running game, reeling off 4 straight wins. The Sooners, on the other hand, come off their first loss and 2 subpar performances in a row. While that may be concerning to some, I know that for this visit to Stillwater we don't have a coach with one foot out the door like 2 years ago. Rather we have a coach who knows the importance of the state of Oklahoma to his overall program and will have his team ready to win the state championship. There will be plenty of areas for improvement in practice this week, and I also think Venables will dial up a game plan to slow down their hotshot running back. Sooners win a surprisingly low scoring affair.

At least it won't be raining this week! It will be pretty windy though. Maybe it will blow their runners into tackles in the open field. :D

Unfortunately I gotta agree. Too many injuries, two straight games of sloppy play and head scratching coaching decisions, special teams have been a hot mess. Throw in the fact that we won’t get many breaks from the officials and I just don’t see us winning this one.

However because I refuse to actually pick a score against us…
