OKLAHOMA SOONERS vs. tcu horny toads: Game Thread
...Black Friday.
November dwindles. Winter approaches.
TEAM 129'S FINAL HOME GAME!
Still don't know who will start for OU @ QB.
This the 2nd time (that I know of) Gabriel's been in the concussion protocol.
The first was a cheap shot by the same team OKLAHOMA plays today.
JA did a superb job in a tough situation last week and I'm ready to see him start.
I think he can move the offense and WIN the game.
But, if you think the SOONERS won't miss their 5th yr senior Big 12 leading QB,(3260 passing yds and 27 TD's, 337 rushing yds and another 11 TD's rushing) you're naive.
Gabriel will need to play again to dispel any doubts for pro scouts but facing the toads given their questionable history might want to err on the side of caution.
Expect Sawchuck to have a big day.
Expect Stoops to be the security blamket for JA (If he starts)
Have some concern about the play by the linebackers last week.
Seems inexplicable.
The groupd had some good moments but overall there were positioning nd tackling issues.
The SOONER secondary will be JA's best friend. They'll get an oskie or two. He just has to capitalize.
Difficult to believe this is the last regular season game.
OKLAHOMA Football has seen me through another Fall in the Indian Nations.
Excited me, entertained me, and disappointed me.
55-24!!! That score has stuck in my craw since last year.
Time for payback.
ROLL MACHINE, ROLL!!!

Last time we see B12 logo on our home field.
Refs, I mean B12 clown show will want to get TCU bowl qualified so next year they have more to try and brag about. Expect some bad calls lets just blow em out so it don’t matter.
Lots of seniors in their last start (if they decline bowl).
No matter who starts at QB they will have taken 1st string snaps all week. If its JA that means we’ll have more of playbook than comikg off bench cold. I hope DG gets to start so fans can show him some love for what he did to salvage a broken program 2 years ago. He was the key in our rebuild.
And Drake Stoops, will be the last game in 25 years a Stoops is on sidelines (not counting bowl). What a legacy the Stoops name has left.

Here’s something to keep an eye on. For the first time in his career with the #Sooners, running back Emeka Megwa is suited out today.
He transferred to Oklahoma from Washington prior to last season, and was a four-star recruit in the 2021 cycle. Been dealing with persistent knee issues.

Wow what a perfect throw by DG to Nic on first down for 50 yards!
And then DG runs for a TD!!
That was fast! Run the score up on this dirty team!
7-0 OU

Great, great start. Defense gets a stop and the offense scores quickly. I love playing from ahead.
