Broadcast guy just went over the mantra of must not fumble in high leverage situations, double arms over the ball, go down at first contact, never mind about fighting for extra yards.
I hope Farooq watching this.

Two really good playoff games today. Texas* caught an incredible break with the injury to the Washington player, but somehow the Huskies held on.
I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong!
When Washington recovered the onside kick from texass and there was 1:12 left i walked away from the tv to do other stuff…….so i wondered what the heck is he talking about Texasss didn’t get a single break or ref call the whole game and it ended when I left at 1:12 score is the same 37 31 …..

Occurred to me watching that game that Texas and OU are very close to being the same team. Defend the run well, not so much the pass. Throw it pretty well at times, don't run it as well. Texas has a little more overall talent, I'd argue better offensive coaching than we had this year, but the difference is not much.
I make big plays in big games, that's all.

I will say though, Penix had a spectacular game. It would've been almost impossible to defend several of those passes. He was right on the money almost every time he needed to make a play. He was definitely making a statement about who should've won the Heisman.

UDub did everything in their power to give that game away, & the Refs did their best to help out at the end too, but the 4-down sequence from the 12-yard line should haunt & sark forever. That was just about the most pitiful set of plays I have ever seen.

Always GREAT to see texsa LOSE! They had ref cheat help to win games for 60 years. They deserve EVERY loss going forward until they too are clearly cheated out of some big games. Only then should Karma get off their back.
texsa sucks!

He throws a really nice ball. It seems like his passes just float into the receiver's hands.EMan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 8:35 am I will say though, Penix had a spectacular game.
