The University of Oklahoma track and field team concludes their regular season Friday at the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark.

Field events are set to begin at 12:30 p.m. CT and running events will start at 2 p.m. CT. Fourteen Sooners will compete at the meet.

Here is the Sooner staff writers article about the Friday meet in Fayetteville.

"This weekend is typically known as the 'last chance' weekend, serving as the last chance for tuning up or qualifying before the Big 12 Championships and NCAA Championships," stated head coach James Thomas. "We're taking a small group of Sooners to Arkansas, each with specific competition objectives. I'm thrilled to see their growth and development and share their excitement to get out there and compete again."

Best of luck to the Sooners in Arkansas.

  • To open the meet, graduate Anthony Riley leaped to a season-best 7.57 (24-10) mark in the men's long jump for third place. Riley now sits at No. 9 on OU's all-time performance list.
I can not find the second 1st place finsiher in the article.
