The Razorbacks are currently No. 12 in the nation and are coming off a win over Missouri last Sunday. In addition to the team total, Arkansas set a program high on beam with a 49.575. Arkansas is 4-2-1 in the SEC – the most victories since 2016 and most under head coach Jordyn Wieber.

Of the nation's top scores this season, the Sooners hold three of the top five spots and six of the top 10 spots. The #1 Oklahoma Sooners Women's Gymnastics Team traveled to Fayetteville, AR to face the #12 Arkansas Razorbacks and left with a 198.350-197.275 victory that was highlighted by two Perfect 10's by Jordan Bowers on Floor and by Sophomore Ava Siegfeldt on Beam. It was Bowers 5th perfect 10 and Siegfeldt's first career perfect 10.

The Sooners posted scores of 49.600 on Bars in the 1st rotation. Then posted a 49.525 on the Vault followed by a 49.600 on Vault and finished with another 49.600 on Beam. The Sooners won a share of every event title on the night. Bowers took home the all-around title with a 39.725 and floor with her perfect score. Siegfeldt took home the beam title, the first of her career. Audrey Davis won the uneven bars title with a near-perfect 9.975 and Hannah Scheible won vault with a 9.925.

The Sooners have now posted seven-consecutive scores of 198-plus, the first school in NCAA history to achieve the feat. It is simply amazing what the Women's Gymnastics Team is doing in the 2024 season. Congrats to the team.

Just incredible what these ladies are doing this year. I believe this road score of 198.350 will increase (slightly) our NQS score - I believe it will be replacing a 198.300 road score, so only a slight increase.

Anyone know the back story on Ava Seigfeldt? I don’t recall her competing this year and her stats show she only did a couple of routines last year. I assume she has been nursing an injury or only just worked her way into the line-up, but it is very unusual for someone without much of a “book” to come in and score a 10. Great job Ava!

Siegfeldt was a good recruit and she is not the typical small gymnasts. At the preview exhibition last year, she performed on the Bars and looked very powerful during her routine. She was in the rotation once last year I think on the beam but fell in her first opportunity. That was about it on the beam in 2023 for her. Earlier this year she did a beam routine as an exhibition performer and received a decent score and had a good routine showing her power. She must have really nailed it yesterday to get a ten.

It just shows the depth of the Sooners.
